Grupo de Ingeniería Lingüística

At the Grupo de Ingeniería Lingüística (GIL) from UNAM, we are dedicated to research in natural language processing (NLP), computational linguistics, and language engineering, with the goal of developing projects and applications that address the needs and challenges of automatic language processing in collaboration with various academic areas.

We are currently working on a central applied research project focused on creating an onomasiological search system: a dictionary that allows users to find terms from descriptions of concepts in natural language, and which serves as the coordinating axis of our different research lines.
